Kansas City born and raised, Paul Mitchell the school alumni with an overwhelming love for haircutting, crazy colors, makeup, and fashion. For syd, his involvement with hair and makeup isn’t just a profession, it’s also a hobby, and a lifestyle. 

Growing up I was obsessed with over the top hair color and drag makeup. When I’m not behind the chair you can find me working backstage at a fashion show, researching history, listening to music, seeing a drag show, or spending time with family. 

When it comes to doing hair I am always looking to learn new things, improve on what I have done previously and push boundaries. Haircutting and styling to me are cycles of metamorphosis, always starting as one things, then going through phases and cycles to become something new and bold. These cycles present growth, new life, new expression, but most importantly transformation. My main goal as a stylist is to provide quality service and a comforting hand that helps you achieve your dreams of ultimate self expression.
