How long have you been doing hair?
I have been doing hair for 25+ years.
What is your education and career background?
Graduated from the Academy of Hair Design in 2000. Worked in Seattle for many years before joining Lumine, where she continues to grow in her craft and collaborative spirit.

What are you most passionate about in your career?
I am most passionate about creating intentional, expressive cuts above the collarbone that feel empowering and easy to maintain. I'm equally drawn to soft, natural color—especially warm tones, rich coppers, and golden brunettes—that complement each client’s skin tone and vibe. I love making people feel more like themselves through hair that reflects who they are.
Rachels Specialties
Haircutting: Styles above the collarbone including pixies, shags, bobs, bixies, and androgynous cuts. Rachel loves crafting shapes with movement, edge, and softness that grow out beautifully and suit each client’s personality and lifestyle.
Hair color: Natural, lived-in blondes; rich reds; warm golden tones; dimensional brunettes; gray blending and gray enhancing; vivid and creative colors on hair that does not require major prep or corrective work prior.
