Haircutting: Classic looks with individualized detailing to give movement, versatility and longevity to the cut. I love to put in the structure initially to create a strong base and then deconstruct at the end to personalize the overall look. — Favorite cuts to do are pixies, bobs & tailored short cuts

Haircolor: Soft lived in looks with dimension for ease of maintenance. — Favorite colors to do are hand painted/ balayage highlighting

NOT Abbie's Specialties ( pLEASE SEE A DIFFERENT LUMINE STYLIST IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR:

Haircutting: Styles that need a lot of flat ironing or styling to acheive the desired look, does not want to use their natural texture in the overall final look.

Haircolor: I do not do vivid/fashion colors or global blonding.

What led you into this line of work?

Its in my blood! My mom was a hairdresser & I always loved going to work with her at the salon. Although, it wasn't until after I attended college & moved to New York that I was introduced to what the Hair Industry truly had to offer! There were many different avenues to explore; from editorial to education or behind the chair just to name a few. After seeing the editorial side, and boy was that fun, I choose to be behind the chair, connecting with clients daily. I love getting to know my clients & their hair through our journey together. For me, it's about helping you love your hair & finding the best look for you!

What are you most passionate about as a hair stylist?

Making people feel good about themselves through their hair! I strongly believe in continuing the improvement of my craft through education. My education is what allows me to learn all textures, shapes, colors & styles to give every client in my chair a chance to see their uniqueness & beauty through their hair!

What do you love most about working at Lumine?

My team & my clients. I work with a strong, passionate, amazing group of people and we get to work in a beautiful, creative space that our fearless leader has worked very hard to achieve!

Having been at Lumine for several years now I have built some wonderful relationships with my clients. And I am very grateful to all of my clients no matter how many times they’ve sat in my chair!
